Recall lamp was created for The Biennale for Craft and Design 2021 in Kolding, Denmark. The project was inspired by the utopian, brutalist architecture and public art that formed the background of my childhood in Poland. What I once saw as ugly and lost, paradoxically created the space for calm and reflection during the lockdowns in 2020, when the lamp was created. The piece is not intended as a stylized version of the good old days, but rather as a poetic journey beyond time.
