Each side table from the “Tinct” collection presents an individual colour composition materialised in the hand-crafted material. A blend of pulverised, coloured glass, bioresin and pigments forms a terazzo inspired yet highly unique surface. The table tops are inlaid with delicate brass lines and filled with speckled substance creating a painterly feeling. Layered carefully with the use of a spatula, the fluid material hardens slowly, with the tiny glass particles being trapped in it. After a laborious process of sanding and polishing the top reveals its saturated hues. Despite its slightly silky, almost lustrous appearance the surface remains sturdy. The project was initiated thanks to the support from Danish Arts Foundation.
